Conceived and curated by Cristina Altamura, founder of Legacy Arts International, this concert celebrates the rich musical contributions of world-renowned Cuban conductor/composer Guido López-Gavilán, with performances by his two sons Ilmar (violin) and Aldo (piano) alongside vocalist Anna Tonna, pianist Cristina Altamura, percussionists David Degge and Adam Sliwinski (Sō Percussion), and vocal chamber group Os Ensemble, led by Raquel Klein. The program explores Gavilán's vivid compositional language, which fuses his European training in Moscow with a distinctive Afro-Cuban eclecticism.
