Venezuela’s Democratic Unity Coalition (Mesa de la Unidad Democrática, MUD) won a two-thirds majority in congressional elections on December 6. The coalition has promised to fix some of the country’s most pressing issues, such as inflation, shortages, and security.

The Americas Society and Council of the Americas will host a conversation with a congressional delegation and leading opposition leaders to hear their views on their legislative agenda and the country’s political and economic context.
