Overview

Council of the Americas, the Inter-American Dialogue, the Atlantic Council's Adrienne Arsht Latin America Center, and the Wilson Center's Latin American Program will hold a conversation with Vice President of Colombia Óscar Naranjo.

Vice President Naranjo, former director of Colombia’s National Police and a member of the government team that negotiated the peace accord with the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, or FARC, will discuss the status of implementation of the agreement, the progress to date in carrying out Colombia’s anti-narcotics strategy, and Colombia’s contributions to regional security efforts in the Western Hemisphere. 

Vice President Naranjo will speak in Spanish, with simultaneous interpretation provided. RSVPs will be closed once capacity has been reached.
