Council of the Americas will hold a private breakfast with the President of the National Banking and Securities Commission of Mexico, Jaime González Aguadé.
González Aguadé supervises and regulates the Mexican financial system. He is also the current President of the Council of Securities Regulators of the Americas and he chairs the Inter-American Regional Committee of the International Organization of Securities Commissions. Previously, he served as general director of the Federal Electricity Commission, undersecretary of electricity at the Energy Secretariat, and general director of the Savings and Rural Finance Bank.
González Aguadé will address implementation of Mexico’s financial reform as well as of recently announced instruments that will broaden investment opportunities through the Mexican stock market.
