Americas Society/Council of the Americas and Americas Quarterly hosted a discussion with former President Ernesto Zedillo and Thomas “Mack” McLarty on “NAFTA at 20 and in 20,” based on their articles in the Winter Americas Quarterly.
The two speakers reflected on the challenges and accomplishments of NAFTA and talked about ways in which the North American Free Trade Agreement should be expanded in the next 20 years, addressing areas such as immigration, energy, infrastructure, and diplomacy.
