Video: BRAVO Leadership Conversation with Blanca Treviño

The president and CEO of Softtek talked about the importance of technology, not just as a field to itself, but in terms of how it has allowed other industries to adapt during the pandemic.

Speakers:

  • Blanca Treviño, President and CEO, Softtek
  • Susan Segal, President and CEO, Americas Society/Council of the Americas

Technology has played a major role keeping things running with minimal disruptions during the COVID-19 shutdown, said Blanca Treviño in the second installment of the BRAVO Leadership Conversations series on “Leadership and Transformation in Times of Crisis.” On top of that, it’s allowed other industries (e.g. restaurants, education) to adapt as well. In her conversation with AS/COA’s Susan Segal, Treviño touched on the digital gap, nearshoring, and how to maintain workplace culture and engagement in a time when when everybody is working from home. “Empathy is the most important part of leading during a crisis,” she said.
