Video: Bogota 2015 – Mauricio Cárdenas on Recent Fiscal Results and Outlook

Colombia’s Finance Minister Mauricio Cardenas spoke about the country’s fiscal status in the wake of falling oil prices, responsible in part for the economic deceleration. But Cardenas was optimistic that Colombia had the right fiscal policies and projects in place, such as new taxes on corporations and the massive infrastructure project known as 4G. "We always knew the rise in the price of oil was temporary,” said the minister. “We saw the 4G infrastructure plan as the antidote.”
