German Jiménez Vega
German Jiménez Vega has been the country manager for Pluspetrol since June 2011. In this role, he sits as chairman of the boards of Pluspetrol Perú Corporación, Pluspetrol Norte, Pluspetrol E&P, Pluspetrol Camisea, and Pluspetrol Lote 56. Previously, he worked for over 20 years at Royal Dutch Shell where he was based in Houston as senior manager of mergers and acquisitions in the Americas and as senior manager of business and strategy. Jiménez has also been the director of the educational organization Corporación Pamer. He received a degree in mechanical engineering from La Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and his MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
German Jiménez Vega es gerente de Pluspetrol en Perú desde julio de 2011. En esta función, sirve como presidente del Directorio de Pluspetrol Perú Corporación, Pluspetrol Norte, Pluspetrol E&P, Pluspetrol Camisea y Pluspetrol Lote 56 desde agosto del 2012. Jiménez tiene más de 20 años de experiencia en el sector de energía y ha desarrollado su carrera en varios países de Norte y Sudamérica, la mayor parte de ella trabajando para Royal Dutch Shell. Sus últimas posiciones fueron basadas en Houston, como gerente senior de Fusiones y Adquisiciones para las Américas y como gerente senior de Negocios y Estrategias. Es también director del grupo educativo Corporación Pamer desde 2011. Jiménez es Ingeniero Mecánico de la Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú y cuenta con una Maestría en Administración de Negocios del Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
