Claudio Muruzabal

Chairman, SAP Latin America and Caribbean; President, SAP EMEA South

Claudio Muruzabal is the president of SAP EMEA South, region comprising Southern Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He is also chairman, SAP Latin America and Caribbean. Muruzabal was named to these two roles in July 2020, following his five-year tenure as President of SAP Latin America and Caribbean (LAC.) With over 25 years of experience heading large technology organizations, Muruzabal leads SAP’s most diverse region that spreads across 75 countries. In this capacity, he is responsible for SAP's Go-to-Market strategy and oversees execution for all SAP’s Lines of Business across the EMEA South region, enabling businesses of all sizes as they innovate, compete and thrive with SAP’s platforms, applications, and business networks. In addition to his role as President for EMEA South, Muruzabal continues to support the LAC region in an advisory role as the Chairman of LAC, focusing on the success of SAP customers in Latin America. Prior to joining SAP in 2015, he was CEO of SAP Partner NEORIS, and previously, VP of Teradata/NCR in Latin America. Muruzabal is Junior Achievement Americas vice-chair and serves on the Council of the Americas Board and a board bember of the Latin American Program for the Woodrow Wilson International Center. He also is an active proponent and speaker on the expansion of digital innovation and entrepreneurship in Latin America. Muruzabal holds a Global Executive MBA from The Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, and a major in Business Administration and Accounting from the Catholic University of Argentina.
