Conductor, pianist, and composer from Uruguay Pablo Zinger not only specializes in tango, Spanish zarzuela, and Latin American vocal and instrumental music, but also in piano duets with commendable video-editing skills, as we see in his video of the second movement from Guastavino’s Sonata del Plata.

En Casa: Stephanie Griffin

The Canadian and New York-based composer, violist, Momenta Quartet founder, and longtime friend of ours Stephanie Griffin is as innovative and musically ambitious with her many ensemble endeavors as she is with her solo visions. So, we are excited that she sent us this incredible video of Telemann’s Fantasia No. 7. (Note the artful homage to our own music director’s penchant for vibrant designs.)
