Overview

Council of the Americas and the Wilson Center’s Argentina Project will hold a private conversation with ambassador Fernando Oris de Roa on his first year as Argentina’s top diplomat to the United States, an analysis of President Mauricio Macri’s administration to this point, and where he sees Argentina going from here.

The U.S. and Argentina have become stronger allies under the leadership of President Mauricio Macri leading to enhanced trade and investment ties. Oris de Roa will share his perspective on the opportunities for deepened commercial and political ties between the U.S. and Argentina.
