Overview

Join the Young Professionals of the Americas (YPA), the Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies (CLACS) at NYU, and Help Peru for a networking cocktail with Carlos Rodríguez-Pastor, Chairman of Intercorp and Co-Founder/Chairman of Innova Schools. Learn about his unique career path and the work he is doing to transform the education model in his home country of Peru.

Carlos Rodriguez-Pastor is Chairman of Intercorp, one of Peru’s largest holding companies, and general partner of Nexus Group, a Peruvian private equity fund with over US$900M assets under management. He is also co-founder and chairman of Innova Schools, a private educational network in Peru that emphasizes academic excellence and affordability. He is a member of several advisory boards and committees including: Second Curve Partners, Royalty Pharma, The David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies at Harvard University, Tuck School of Business Board of Overseers, New York’s Museum of Modern Arts (MoMA) Committee for Latin American Acquisitions, MIT’s Corporation Development Committee, Latin America Conservation Council, and is co-chair of the Chairman’s International Advisory Council of the Americas Society/Council of the Americas. Mr. Rodriguez-Pastor has an undergraduate degree from the University of California at Berkeley, and an MBA from Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business.

YPA is an international network that provides a platform for young professionals in their 20s and 30s to connect around the latest trends in the Americas through its New York City and Miami chapters.   

This event is only open to YPA members as well as the CLACS and HelpPeru networks. Capacity is limited and priority is given to YPA Steering Committee and Silver members.
