AQ Audio Slideshow: Wyclef Jean on Yéle Haiti

By Danielle Renwick

In an interview with Americas Quarterly, the Grammy Award-winning musician talked about why he created Yéle, a Haiti-based youth outreach program. Listen to excerpts from the interview.

Multi-platinum and Grammy Award-winning musician and producer Wyclef Jean made a name for himself in the 1990s, both as a solo artist and as a member of The Fugees. These days, he makes as many headlines as the UN Goodwill Ambassador to Haiti in his efforts to bring attention to development in his native country. Wyclef spoke with AQ's Danielle Renwick about his nonprofit, Yéle Haiti, and pushing green initiatives.
