Video: How High a Threat Is Zika for the Americas?

The U.S. government has a $1.9 billion request up for debate in Congress to fight Zika at home and abroad. Cases continue to rise throughout the region, whether in countries with advanced public health systems such as Costa Rica or in those facing economic crises, such as Venezuela. Panelists discussed how integrated U.S. institutions are with efforts in Brazil and other countries experiencing the outbreak, as well as the main aspects of fighting Zika in the Americas.
