Video: First Panel - What makes Latin American modern design so different?

On February 12, Americas Society's Visual Arts program hosted the symposium "The Invention of the Modern Domestic Space in Brazil, Mexico, and Venezuela: Design, Art, and Architecture, 1940-1978." Panel discussions covered the current state of Latin American design, the influence of the home on the field, and case studies on exciting design initiatives in Brazil, Mexico, and Venezuela.

  • Patricio del Real, of the Museum of Modern Art, presents “Del arte al diseño, MOMA’s design intersections with Latin America”
