CNN: AS/COA's Chairman John D. Negroponte on the U.S. Presidential Candidates' Stands on Foreign Policy

Tuesday, October 23, 2012

AS/COA's Chairman John D. Negroponte assesses the U.S. presidential candidates' stands on foreign policy on CNN's Starting Point. "The incumbent's got the record, the experience...The challenger has less experience in that area and has got to be convincing he'll be a good commander in chief," said Negroponte. Aside from solely focusing on the Benghazi attack, Negroponte said Monday's debate should discuss the volatile situation in Iran, Egypt, and Pakistan, the fate of Afganistan after the withdrawal of U.S. troops, and the future of U.S.-China bilateral relations.
