BizAsia America: Farnsworth on the Shipment of DPRK Weapons from Cuba

On CCTV's BizAsia America, COA's Vice President Eric Farnsworth discusses how the discovery of weapons hidden on a ship from Cuba will affect the country's relationship with the United States, as well as the role Panama played in the incident. "It's really interesting to see here how Panama and the United States may be cooperating," Farnsworth said of the U.S.-Panama relationship. "Don't forget the United States and Panama have had a very long relationship for many years." Farnsworth also mentioned that the incident is likely to shift relations between Cuba and the U.S. "I think you're probably going to see a freezing in the relationship at least in the near term, now over the longer term, it's a little different, we'll have to see where it leads," he noted.
