BBC World News America: COA’s Eric Farnsworth on Chile’s Michelle Bachelet

COA’s Eric Farnsworth talks with BBC World News America about the frontrunner in Chile’s upcoming elections, former president Michelle Bachelet, and what might be in store if she’s elected. Farnsworth notes that a critical question will be how Bachelet, if elected, would deliver on the demands of the student protesters.  “She’s promised universal, or at least, free college education, and that takes a lot of money to pay for…it will be up to her and to her new government if she’s elected to meet those [demands],” he explains.
