Economic growth projections for 2015 are short of what investors and governments would like to see in Latin America. The International Monetary Fund revised its global economic growth forecast for the year on January, citing external factors for the lower numbers. At the same time, oil prices may represent a challenge for countries hoping to be major energy players. AS/COA Online spoke with experts participating in events about Mexico and Venezuela's economic outlook in New York to find out more about what is driving the region's economy this year.
