Todd Gartner

Senior Associate, Natural Infrastructure & Water, World Resources Institute

Todd Gartner is a senior associate of natural infrastructure and water at the World Resources Institute (WRI). He runs WRI’s Nature for Water initiative, working with governments and businesses to invest in conservation and restoration of forests, wetlands, and other ecosystems in order to secure freshwater supplies, reduce flood risks, and obtain other economic and social benefits. Before joining the World Resources Institute, Gartner developed and ran the Conservation Incentives program at the American Forest Foundation and worked in field forestry in New England. He also conducted fire ecology and eco-tourism research in Botswana and India, worked as a business consultant for the USDA Forest Service, and served as a corporate financial consultant. Gartner holds a master's of forestry degree from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies and a B.S. in finance from University of Maryland’s Smith School of Business. He is also a Doris Duke Conservation Fellow, Switzer Environmental Fellow, Environmental Leadership Program Fellow, and Property and Environmental Research Center Fellow.

Todd Gartner es el director principal de la Infraestructura y Agua Natural del World Resources Institute (WRI).
