Sonia Dulá

Vice Chairman for Latin America, Bank of America Merrill Lynch

Sonia Dulá is vice chairman for Latin America at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Global Corporate and Investment Banking Division. Previously, she was head of Latin America Wealth Management at Merrill Lynch and head of Corporate and Investment Banking for Latin America, where she led several high profile transactions, including the IPO and follow-on equity offering of Arcos Dorados. Earlier in her career, Ms. Dulá worked at Goldman Sachs, where she headed several large-scale privatizations and IPOs, such as Endesa and Repsol of Spain, and Telmex and Televisa of Mexico. Before joining Merrill Lynch, Ms. Dulá was the CEO of Grupo Latino de Radio and CEO of Telemundo Studios Mexico, in addition to being the co-founder of Internet Group of Brazil. Ms. Dulá has been a member of Young Presidents Organization and served on the board of Women’s World Banking, the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts, and the Stanford Graduate School of Business Management Board. She is currently a board member of the Council of the Americas, Entrepreneurship and Competitiveness in Latin America at the Columbia Business School, and the Diversity & Inclusion Council of Bank of America. Ms. Dulá holds a degree in Economics from Harvard University and received an MBA degree from Stanford University.
