Oliver Flögel
Oliver Flögel has been the general country manager for Microsoft Chile since 2014. He is also a founding partner of IS Capital, a fund focused on venture capital investing in innovation and business management. Flögel was executive secretary of digital development for the Chilean government during the Sebastián Piñera administration and was responsible for the digital agenda. Previously, he was general manager of Telefónica in Chile where he worked for 16 years and had responsibilities in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, and Spain. While at Telefónica, Flögel oversaw the IPO of Telefónica Móviles, the acquisition of mobile operations in Brazil and Mexico, and Telefónica’s merger with Bellsouth. He has a master's degree in public finance and earned his MBA from EU Business School in Montreux, Switzerland.
Oliver Flögel es el gerente general de Microsoft Chile desde 2014. También es socio fundador de IS Capital, una administradora de fondos de capital de riesgo enfocado en invertir en innovación dirección de empresas. Fue secretario ejecutivo de desarrollo digital para el gobierno de Chile durante el gobierno del Presidente Sebastián Piñera y también fue responsable de la agenda digital. Anteriormente, Flögel era gerente general de Telefónica en Chile, empresa en la que trabajó durante 16 años desempeñando diversas funciones en países como Argentina, Brasil, Chile y España. Estuvo involucrado en operaciones que incluyen la salida a la bolsa de Telefónica Móviles, la adquisición de operaciones móviles en Brasil y México, la fusión de las operaciones de Telefónica y Bellsouth y la integración de los negocios fijos y móviles en Chile. Es licenciado en administración de empresas y recibió un masterado en finanzas corporativas.
