Marcos Peña
Marcos Peña has been Argentina’s chief of the cabinet of ministers since December 2015. Previously, he served as secretary general of the government of the City of Buenos Aires. Peña was also a deputy in the City of Buenos Aires legislature between 2003 and 2007, representing the political party Propuesta Republicana (PRO), and was secretary general of the government of the City of Buenos Aires between 2007 and 2015. He is a founding member of the PRO’s National Council. He has held positions in various NGOs, including the Center for the Implementation of Public Policies Promoting Equity and Growth and Poder Ciudadano. Peña holds a degree in political science and government from Universidad Torcuato Di Tella.
Marcos Peña es jefe de gabinete de ministros de la Nación desde diciembre de 2015. Previo a asumir esta posición, fue secretario general del gobierno de la Cuidad de Buenos Aires. Peña también se desempeñó como legislador de la Cuidad de Buenos Aires entre 2003 y 2007, representando al partido Propuesta Republicana (PRO), y fue secretario general del gobierno de la Cuidad de Buenos Aires entre 2007 y 2015. Es un miembro fundador del Consejo Nacional de PRO. Ha tenido distintas posiciones en varias ONG, incluyendo Poder Ciudadano y el Centro de Implementación de Políticas Públicas para la Equidad y el Crecimiento (CIPPEC). Peña obtuvo su título en ciencias políticas y gobierno de la Universidad de Torcuato di Tella.
