Juan Andrade

Executive Vice President of Chubb Group and President, Overseas General Insurance, Chubb

Juan Andrade is executive vice president of Chubb Group and president of Overseas General Insurance. Andrade has executive operating responsibility for Chubb’s general insurance business across 54 countries outside of North America. Prior to ACE’s acquisition of Chubb in January 2016, Andrade had been executive vice president of ACE Group since March 2014. Before joining ACE in 2010, Andrade was president and chief operating officer for the Hartford Financial Services Group. Before joining the Hartford in 2006, Andrade held senior management positions with the Progressive Corporation. He started his career at AIG, where he worked in the United States and overseas. Prior to his positions with AIG, Andrade worked in national security and international affairs within the U.S. Federal Government's Executive Branch and the Executive Office of the President. Andrade received a bachelor's degree in journalism and political science from the University of Florida, and a master's degree in international economics and Latin American studies from the School of Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University.
