Gustavo Grobocopatel
Gustavo Grobocopatel is chairman and CEO of Grupo Los Grobo. He is also secretary and founding partner of Cámara Argentina de Biotecnología. He is a member of the Boards of various business associations such as Asociación Empresaria Argentina and Endeavor Argentina, and he is currently president of the Agribusiness Chapter of LIDE Argentina. Grobocopatel is also a member of the board of Bioceres S.A., a biotechnology company, of the Economic Council of Universidad Torcuato Di Tella, and of the board of Escuelas del Bicentenario. In 2011 he was granted with the Entrepreneur of the Year Award by Ernst & Young and in 2012 he was awarded Businessman of the Year by Comunica RSE for his contribution to Corporate Social Responsibility. Grobocopatel is an agronomic engineer. He graduated from Universidad de Buenos Aires, where he taught soil management. In 2000, he studied European production systems and agriculture at Iowa State University.

Se desempeña además como miembro de diversas asociaciones de negocios, como la Asociación Empresaria Argentina y Endeavor Argentina. Actualmente es además presidente del capítulo de agronegocios del Grupo de Líderes Empresariales, LIDE Argentina. Grobocopatel es también miembro del Consejo de la compañía de biotecnología Bioceres S.A., del Consejo Económico de la Universidad Torcuato Di Tella, y del Consejo de Escuelas del Bicentenario. En 2011 fue distinguido con el premio Emprendedor del Año que otorga Ernst & Young y en 2012 con el premio al Empresario del Año por parte de Comunica RSE, por su contribución en el ámbito de la Responsabilidad Social Empresaria. Grobocopatel es ingeniero agrónomo de la Universidad de Buenos Aires. Tiene además estudios en sistemas de producción europeos y agricultura de la Iowa State University.
