Gonzalo Zegarra
Gonzalo Zegarra is the executive director and chairman of the board of the publishing company Semana Económica. He is also the editor-in-chief of the business weekly Semana Económica and Perú Económico, a management and public policy monthly publication. Additionally, Zegarra serves as chairman of the board of the Peruvian Press Council and sits on the National Security Council (CONASEC), an advisory body to the president of the republic. He formerly was a member of the Council of Radio and TV CONCORTV, at the Ministry of Transportation and Communications. Zegarra has taught business law, philosophy of law, and political economy at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Peru and the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas. He holds a master of laws (LLM) degree from Yale University, a JD from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Peru, and studied management at Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Gonzalo Zegarra es el director ejecutivo y presidente de la Junta de la editorial Semana Económica. También es editor en jefe del semanario de negocios Semana Económica y Perú Económico, una publicación mensual de temas de gestión y las políticas públicas. Adicionalmente Zegarra se desempeña como presidente de la Junta Directiva del Consejo de la Prensa Peruana y está en el Consejo de Seguridad Nacional (CONASEC), un órgano asesor del Presidente de la República. Anteriormente, fue miembro del Consejo de Radio y Televisión CONCORTV en el Ministerio de Transportes y Comunicaciones. Zegarra ha enseñado derecho comercial, filosofía del derecho y economía política en la Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú y la Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas. Tiene un Master’s en Derecho (LLM) por la Universidad de Yale, un JD de la Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, y estudió Administración en la Escuela de Administración Kellogg de la Northwestern University.
