Adriana Noreña
Adriana Noreña is the vice president for Google Spanish Speaking Latin America since 2011. She was born in Cali, Colombia and currently resides in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Married and the mother of one daughter, Adriana served as the marketing and new business director at Avaya, as a financial and strategic planning manager at Elma Chips (PepsiCo-Frito Lay)m and held different positions at Google before taking on her current role, including country managing director for Google Argentina and director of online sales and operations for Google Brazil and, subsequently, Google Latin America.
Adriana holds a degree in Business Administration from Universidad Icesi (Colombia), an MBA from Babson College (USA), and a Masters in Technology Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (USA).
Today, Adriana is a member of the Advisory Committee of MIT Sloan's Latin America Office and a member of ALSEA's Board of Directors. In her spare time, she trains to compete in triathlons and is a fan of technology applied to sports.
Adriana Noreña nació en Cali, Colombia, reside actualmente en San Pablo, Brasil, y es, desde 2011, vicepresidente de Google para Hispanoamérica. Casada y madre de una hija, Adriana fue directora de marketing y nuevos negocios en Avaya, gerente de planeación financiera y estratégica en Elma Chips (PepsiCo-Frito Lay) y ocupó diferentes cargos en Google antes de asumir su responsabilidad actual, que incluyeron la dirección general de Google Argentina y la dirección de ventas y operaciones online de Google Brasil y, posteriormente, Google America Latina.
Licenciada en Administración de Empresas por la Universidad Icesi (Colombia), Adriana realizó un MBA en el Babson College (EE.UU.) y un Máster en Gerencia de Tecnología en el Massachusetts Institute of Technology (EE.UU.)
Hoy, Adriana integra el Comité Asesor de la Oficina de Latinoamérica de MIT Sloan y es miembro del Consejo de Administración de ALSEA. En sus ratos libres, se entrena para competir en triatlones, y se declara fan de la tecnología aplicada al deporte.
