Overview

Please join the Council of the Americas for a roundtable discussion of how the countries of the Western Hemisphere view the results of the U.S. elections. 

Internationally regarded journalists will discuss how the region will be affected with the new presidential term, the policies toward the region, the new relationships/partnerships to be built, and steps moving forward.

  • Luiza Savage, Washington Bureau Chief, Maclean’s Magazine, Canada
  • William Waack, International Politics Journalist and Anchor of Jornal do Globo, Rede Globo, Brazil
