Overview

The briefing will serve as a forum to discuss updated U.S. regulations toward Cuba and U.S.-Cuba policy in advance of President Barack Obama's trip to Havana. This will be an opportunity for our business members to hear from U.S. government officials and for officials to hear feedback and input from our member companies. This program will feature a discussion with Matthew Borman, deputy assistant secretary for export administration at the U.S. Department of Commerce; John Smith, acting director of the Office of Foreign Assets Control at the U.S. Department of Treasury; and Mark Wells, coordinator for Cuban affairs at the U.S. Department of State.
