Join the AS/COA YPA for a brown bag lunch with Karen Toulon, New York bureau chief for Bloomberg News. Get to know Toulon and discuss career paths, life at Bloomberg, and any other questions you may have. This event is the first of our new Young Professional of the Americas (YPA)'s Brown Bag Lunch Series, which brings prominent leaders from various fields together with YPA members in a small, intimate setting.

Karen Amanda Toulon was appointed to the role of Bloomberg News New York bureau chief in November 2007. The 731 Lexington Avenue bureau is the largest of Bloomberg's more than 150 bureaus in 73 countries. Before assuming her current role, Toulon served as: editor-at-large, Broadcast; team leader, U.S. Broadcast Interviews; and team leader, U.S. Affiliate TV. Toulon joined Bloomberg News in December 1999 after 13 years at news organizations including CBS, CNBC, and Reuters. She served as the managing editor of Reuters Financial Television, Americas, and as a supervising producer at CNBC. A graduate of Dartmouth College, Toulon earned a master’s degree from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
