Overview

The Council of the Americas Trade Advisory Group will hold an off-the-record breakfast discussion with U.S. Under Secretary of Commerce for International Trade Stefan Selig.

Selig will discuss the Obama administration’s plans for the regional trade agenda in 2015. The under secretary took office in June 2014 and led a trade mission to Peru and Colombia in November. He has overseen the Look South Initiative, which promotes U.S. exports to free-trade partners in Latin America and was launched by Commerce Secretary Penny Pritzker a year ago.
