Overview

Council of the Americas will hold a private, off-the-record breakfast discussion with the Inter-American Development Bank executive directors of Canada, Mexico, and the United States regarding North American regional issues in advance of the North American Leaders Summit (NALS) meeting in Ottawa on June 29, 2016.

This will be an outstanding opportunity to consult three senior government officials on the North American agenda in advance of the NALS, and gain a better appreciation of how these nations are working in concert to address broader issues within Latin America and the Caribbean.

Speakers:

  • Mark Lopes, Executive Director of the United States, Inter-American Development Bank
  • Bosco Martí Ascencio, Executive Director of Mexico, Inter-American Development Bank
