    Overview

    Council of the Americas will hold a private, off-the-record conversation on Canada’s economic outlook with Bill Morneau, minister of finance of Canada.

    Morneau was appointed to the post of minister of finance under the administration of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on November 4, 2015. A prominent Canadian businessman and politician, he was executive chair of Canada’s largest human resources firm, Morneau Shepell, and the former chair of the C.D. Howe Institute.
