AS/COA Membership

Americas Society/Council of the Americas was founded by David Rockefeller over 50 years ago to foster the inter-American relationship and support open markets, strong democratic institutions, and promote culture and the arts in the Western Hemisphere.

In pursuit of this goal, AS/COA organizes 250+ programs that facilitate meaningful dialogue between key leaders from the private and public sectors and provide our members with valuable networking opportunities in New York, Washington, D.C., Miami, and Latin America.

AS/COA offers two types of membership—Individual and Corporate:

  • An Individual may join the Americas Society (AS) 501(c)(3) as a President’s Circle Member.
AS President’s Circle membership offers three levels: Silver $10,000, Gold $15,000, and Platinum $25,000 annually.

  • A Company may join the Council of the Americas (COA) 501(c)(6) as a Corporate Member.
COA Standard membership costs $15,000, and Elite membership costs $25,000 annually.

Approximately 70 percent of our events are private, off the record, and reserved for our individual members of the President's Circle and Corporate members. These off-record programs convene heads of state, policymakers, business and cultural leaders from across the hemisphere.
