Audio: The Third Edition of the Women, Business and the Law Report

Sarah Iqbal of the World Bank and the International Finance Corporation discussed a new report on women’s prospects as entrepreneurs and employees.

According to the 2014 joint publication and project by the World Bank and the International Finance Corporation (IFC), Women, Business and the Law 2014: Removing Restrictions To Enhance Gender Equality, 48 law and regulatory reforms were enacted between March 2011 and April 2013 that could enhance women’s economic opportunities.

Sarah Iqbal and Paula Tavares, program coordinator and legal analyst at the World Bank and the International Finance Corporation (IFC) presented the third edition of Women, Business and the Law, with indicators based on laws and regulations affecting women’s prospects as entrepreneurs and employees.
