In conjunction with the opening of the 66th Session of the UN General Assembly, Americas Society and Council of the Americas hosted a series of public programs with presidents of Latin Americas. Access materials from the programs below.
Felipe Calderón, President of Mexico: Americas Society presented Felipe Calderón with the Gold Insigne, the organization’s highest honor, in recognition of his accomplishments as president of Mexico. “The name of the game in this world today is competitiveness,” said the president in remarks emphasizing the need for deeper North American economic integration.
