On August 9, 2011, Americas Society/Council of the Americas and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil) hosted “Brazil on the Global Stage” to analyze the country’s new global role and discuss how key issues such as innovation, entrepreneurship, and competitiveness can contribute to the country’s economic development and performance. The conference addressed these issues with a group of internationally recognized senior business executives, government officials, economists and investment analysts.
