2016 Buenos Aires Conference — Argentina: Economic and Political Perspectives

New York, August 23, 2016—Argentina has seen renewed interest from the international community as the government of President Mauricio Macri continues the implementation of a business and investment reform agenda to ensure sustained economic growth.

Americas Society/Council of the Americas will host its thirteenth annual conference in Buenos Aires, “Argentina: Economic and Political Perspectives,” on Thursday, August 25 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Alvear Palace Hotel. Organized in partnership with the Cámara Argentina de Comercio y Servicios, the event will examine the country’s political and economic outlook as well as the challenges and opportunities for the Macri administration. The conference will be webcast live.
