2016 Buenos Aires Conference — Argentina: Economic and Political Perspectives

The August 25 conference will convene high-level public and private sector leaders to examine opportunities and challenges for the Macri administration.

New York, August 23, 2016—Argentina has seen renewed interest from the international community as the government of President Mauricio Macri continues the implementation of a business and investment reform agenda to ensure sustained economic growth.

Americas Society/Council of the Americas will host its thirteenth annual conference in Buenos Aires, “Argentina: Economic and Political Perspectives,” on Thursday, August 25 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Alvear Palace Hotel. Organized in partnership with the Cámara Argentina de Comercio y Servicios, the event will examine the country’s political and economic outlook as well as the challenges and opportunities for the Macri administration.
