2015 Bogota Conference: Colombia in the Eyes of Wall Street
Finance Minister Mauricio Cárdenas will be among speakers at the June 11 event examining Colombia's economic outlook and trade agenda.
New York, June 3, 2015 – In spite of falling oil prices, Colombia remains among the fastest-growing economies in Latin America. According to government estimates, the country will grow approximately 3.5 to 4.0 percent in 2015, while the country’s Central Bank forecasts a 3.2 percent GDP increase. At a time of domestic and external challenges, Colombia continues to create opportunities for growth beyond the oil sector.
Join Americas Society/Council of the Americas, ANIF, and Fedesarrollo at the nineteenth annual Bogota conference “Colombia in the Eyes of Wall Street” on Thursday, June 11, 2015 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The conference will be broadcast live via webstream. Convening a group of public officials and Wall Street analysts and investors, the event will examine Colombia's economic forecast and trade agenda.
